Carolyn Devine - Communications Coordinator | Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board
Carolyn joined OWEB (which is a state agency that provides grants for watershed restoration activities) as communications coordinator in November 2007 and is now OWEB’s Grant Program Analyst -- which means she serves as the person behind GovDelivery, and OWEB’s FaceBook page as well as a bunch of other grant program and public affairs related activities. Previously, she worked with OSU Extension, Yamhill; as a consultant with Dean Runyan & Associates in Portland, and as associate director at The Berry Botanic Garden in Portland. She is a certified plant geek, with a masters in Cellular Molecular Plant Biology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and spends her weekends nose to the ground looking for cool rare native plants to photograph.
Patrick Hoke - Intelligent Transportation Systems Maintenance Team Lead | Oregon Department of Transportation
Patrick is the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Maintenance Team Lead for Oregon Department of Transportation. In this role, he serves as the systems integrator and point person for maintaining multiple ITS systems, including TripCheck.com, Toll-free Traveler Information and Operations Center. Patrick has more than 20 years of experience in information technology and systems management.
Bud Richmond - Customer Relationship Advisor | Oregon State Legislature
Bud advises and assists legislative members with all their information technology needs, including hardware and software, multimedia, and digital communications (email, social networking, etc.) requests. He has worked for the Legislative Administration Information Services at the Oregon State Capitol for more than 14 years, and prior to that, he worked in various IT roles for an additional 10 years.
Bill Sweeney - Digital Communications Developer | Oregon State Legislature
Bill currently works with legislators and their staff to effectively leverage digital communications to connect with constituents, state agencies and the public. He also manages the Legislature’s Internet and Intranet sites as well as serving as the user interface (UI) designer for web-based legislative applications. Bill has been with the Legislature for more than 15 years and prior to that, he spent 3 years with the Designer/Communications team at Central Washington University.
Brent Kastner - Chief Technology Officer | GovDelivery
Brent interfaces with clients, non-clients and partners to provide direct technology leadership with regard to digital communications across the public sector. Prior to becoming CTO, he was the Vice President of Technology, where he ensured that the Product and Technology visions were closely aligned with the goals of the business, with a key emphasis on flexibility, adaptability, speed-to-market, and growth. Brent joined GovDelivery in May of 2007 as Director of Operations and oversaw massive growth in usage of the system. Brent has more than 15 years of experience working in consulting, software and technology.
Jennifer Kaplan - Product Marketing Manager | GovDelivery
Jennifer launches new and innovative software products to improve the way government communicates online. As the liaison to these organizations, she has developed an acute knowledge of best practices and success stories. She has over 8 years of experience in the digital communications industry.
